Well I graduated a little over a month ago, had a good couple weeks of partying with friends who were in town for the break, and now am left with nearly complete boredom in Santa Fe.
I got a promotion through Hallmark which probably won't start until just after Valentine's Day, and even after that will be very sporadic, but it pays well. Today I got a call from Farmer's Insurance, they found my through monster.com! I was very surprised to actually get a response through that! They are looking for a Claims Rep, which sounds cool. I've got a phone interview with them tomorrow! It's so exciting to finally be really starting the job search! Up until now I've just been generally unmotivated, and for all the positions I did find I found myself to feel really under qualified or really overqualified.
The past 3 weeks or so I've seen very little of my friends, and my days have revolved around working out and watching tv. I'm glad I have the time to get back into working out, but I get impatient waiting for it to pay off! Should start seeing results soon. I'm on my 4th week.
Soon I'll start the process of moving out of my apartment in Albuquerque, my lease ends at the end of February, and then the plan is for Meghan and I to move into Matt's house! I'm excited to NOT live in my parents' house. It's been long enough already. I feel like it's a step in the opposite direction to be living with them again.
